El
CLAN - A more recent group, El Clan offers a
more updated version of the great Cuban orchestra. These
sixteen young musicians interpret with rigour and inventiveness
a wide repertoire that spans from Cuban classics, boleros,
son and guarachas to the more modern styles such as
rap and ragga. El Clan will be the orchestra that will
accompany Dayron and Haila.
DAYRON Y EL BOOM -
Dayron was born in Havana, into a family of poets and
musicians. From early childhood he was immersed in the
arts and music (composition and interpretation) and
dance, and was received many awards in the fields of
Arts and Entertainment.
HAILA - There is renewal
among the singers of “Son”. Following a
first career with the group Bamboleo from 1994 to 2001,
Haila Maria Mompiè Gonzalez has been performing
since then on her own, showing up on tour with the most
important artists such as Oscar de Leon, Celia Cruz,
Isaac Delgado... The talent of this artist has convinced
more than one specialist that she will be the new feminine
voice in traditional Cuban music. |
